Pension Jakubowo

A place for those who value peace and quiet, for those who want to be close to nature, for gourmets who can appreciate natural flavors and healthy food, for those who love the countryside and have an idyllic life.

In Jakubowo, among a beautiful Masurian landscape, we have created a unique place with intimate rooms and a dining-gallery. Jakubowo 5 is an eco-friendly agritourism guesthouse, located in the buffer zone of the Masurian Landscape Park, surrounded by meadows and forests, between Probarskie Lake and Lake Wągieł, 12 km from Mrągowo and 22 km from Mikołajki.

On the farm, happy dogs live with us, cats, chickens, geese, ducks. Nestled also wagtail, mazurkas, sparrows, starlings, swallows and cinderella. We are visited by cranes, storks, eagles, ravens, woodpeckers, thrushes, hawks.

We have hosted artists from Poland and Germany many times. Some of the works created during the open air decorate the interiors of our guesthouse, among others: paintings and graphics by Bogna Klaman, Janek Niksinski, my objects – Iwona Stegner and early works of Mirosław Bałka. Rooms

We have double and triple bright, spacious rooms with bathrooms and a balcony or terrace with a view of the patio, vegetable and flower garden or a meadow. Guest rooms are located in three connected buildings, vary in size - from 16 to 38 m2.

Kitchen

Author's cuisine Jakubowa is one of the biggest attractions of our pension - light, tasty and healthy. We make dishes from natural and fresh products mostly from our own ecological garden, we season them with aromatic herbs, also wild ones growing on nearby meadows.

Attractions

We organize bonfires with sausages in a natural amphitheater, hiking, horseback rides (horseback), carriage rides or carts, bicycle trips, canoeing. For amateurs of stronger experiences, we recommend chopping wood with an ax, and for others playing tennis on nearby courts, billiards and ping-pong or mushroom picking and observation of nature (wild animals and birds). We recommend trips to: deer farm and park of wild animals in Kadzidłowo, castle in Reszel and Ryn and St. Lipka. At the end of September and at the beginning of October, we will be happy to show the places of the seismic cranes / a magnificent view of thousands of arriving cranes with countless motifs for photographers. We organize small family and company celebrations, weddings up to 40 people.
